Maria is Nathan's half-sister that he raised after her parents' murder. Looking younger than her age, along with an empty look, Maria is haunted by a traumatic past. She then found some temporary salvation by learning the piano and the violon at the conservatoire. Maria helps his brother with his investigation, but what she really and only wishes for is to find and punish the murderer of her parents, and nothing else until that... and she would commit suicide afterwards. She was so shocked that she could not remember the killer's face... She uses an iron staff to fight.

PAST : Her parents were brutally killed in front of her eyes, leading to be completely withdrawn for some time until the sound of music wakes her up from this state.
